SDGs and Women
EDUCATION
Sustainability
The project aims to generalize education on economic, social and environmental issues. Indeed, it is important to make children aware of the stakes of sustainable development, from their youngest age and at all stages of their schooling, because it is a decisive step in the construction of their future role and responsibility as citizens of tomorrow.
Indeed, more exactly the idea, is to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals among children ( from 6 to 11) and teenagers (from 12 to 18) and thus enable them to deepen their knowledge of global challenges. The activities, games and pedagogical tools will be adapted according to the age group, allowing to approach the different sub-goals of each SDG in a playful way.
We are aware of the fact that Gender Equality is a driver of sustainable development and crucial to achieve 2030 Agenda. Our activities will help to explain to children how and why gender matters to all SDGs.
Our art-based educational materials will be published on Educacion Diversa website where anyone can access them for free. Furthermore, the idea is to provide these educational activities to teachers from different schools so that they can organize workshops towards the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals.
It is very important to provide access to health care, good nutrition, education and support women to be active and key participants in the development of their communities and society in general. We invite you to review the UN Women’s theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2023 (IWD 2023): “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”
